This is the second book from renowned photographer Bill Tinney, a fixture in the tattoo and biker scenes for decades, known for capturing iconic images for top tattoo and biker magazines.
The photographs featured in this volume were carefully selected from Tinney’s vast archive of over 2.5 million slides, collected over years of close friendship with tattoo legend Lyle Tuttle. These candid images capture Lyle’s many expressions, greetings, and interactions with friends and admirers throughout the years.
This volume also includes a foreword by Danielle Boiardi, Curator and Guardian of the Lyle Tuttle Collection. Additionally, it features a reprint of a 14-page tribute article from Tattoo Magazine (Fall 2019) titled The Passing of Inkslinging Legend Lyle Tuttle, with words by Ed Hardy and an introduction by contributor Michael McCabe.
